About Us

Gatekeeper Management was established in 1986 as a full service residential property management company.  Services include marketing houses, screening tenants, leasing, collecting rent, accounting, direct deposit to owners, communications, maintenance, handling complaints/problems, late rent, & evictions if needed, taking care of property between tenants, and all other facets of residential property management. We also buy real estate & sell through lease purchase as well as traditional mortgage bank financed sales.

The owner, Brett Vincent, purchased the company in 2002 and has since grown it from managing 60 properties to well over 400 properties. Brett is the broker, a full time real estate investor, and a very hands-on business owner. Having previously spent 16 years in the paper industry as a mechanical engineer and operations manager with companies including Proctor & Gamble, Kimberly Clark, and Avery Dennison Corporations, he began buying residential homes in 1996.  He now owns over 40 properties himself. Brett is married with 2 teen-age girls, is a 15 year volunteer church youth counselor, and a private pilot.  He is also active in the Fayette County Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, and Powercore business networking group.

Laura Vazquez is the office manager and has been with the company since 2002.  Jana Dix is the senior accountant and operations manager who has been with the company since 2004.  Our staff includes Tayler & Alex Anderson, and Candace Hayes in customer service, as well as Patrick Herron in accounting. We also engage a network of outside contractors for maintenance and cleaning services.  These vendors all compete for our business.

Over the past 10 years Gatekeeper has evolved and emerged as “The Name” in residential property management on the south side of Atlanta.  A highly capable and experienced staff uses the latest developments in internet marketing, software systems, and internal administrative systems to manage properties effectively. 

Our greatest strength is that we enjoy serving customers & solving problems.  This is a very unique business.  We are highly experienced and skilled at what we do.  We work as a team and have a lot of fun at it!  We work hard every day to maintain an excellent reputation. We serve the Fayette, Coweta, Henry, Clayton, and south Fulton county areas.
